USDOJ Acting Deputy Chief Michael Redmann and FBI Supervisory Special Agent Dan Simmons visited Ministry of Justice

Acting Deputy Chief Michael Redmann from the Money Laundering and Asset Recovery Section of the U.S. Department of Justice, along with FBI Supervisory Special Agent Dan Simmons, visited for a meeting hosted by Director General Michelle Yumei Meng of Department of International and Cross-Strait Legal Affairs, Ministry of Justice (hereinafter referred to as “this department”).

The meeting was attended by Director Chih-Hung Chiu (Prosecutor), Agency Against Corruption, MOJ, Prosecutor Tim Ting-Han Lee, Taiwan Taipei District Prosecutors Office, Prosecutor Julie Pei-Ju Wang, and Prosecutor’s Investigator Sabrina Ting-Ru Syu from this department. Together, they engaged in extensive discussions on international cooperation between Taiwan and the U.S. in investigating corruption cases.
