Director General Michelle, Yumei MENG to attend the 29th Annual Conference of the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP) in Baku, Azerbaijan

Director General Michelle, Yumei MENG of the Department of International and Cross-Strait Legal Affairs, Ministry of Justice, led Prosecutor Julie, Peiju WANG along with a delegation from the Taiwan Prosecutors Association, to attend the 29th Annual Conference of the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP) in Baku, Azerbaijan. During the conference, they engaged in extensive exchanges with prosecutors from around the world on various topics, including combating transnational telecom fraud, digital crime, and legal frameworks and practices for victim and witness protection. The delegation also took the opportunity to establish connections with counterparts in judicial cooperation agencies and central authorities of mutual legal assistance from other countries, fostering potential future collaborations.
